The Trust granted $22,000 in January 2024 towards youth worker support costs from January to June 2024 for the Twin Rivers Centre for Youth counselling, employment assistance and hang out zone. This includes – Youth Events, Camp and Materials needed for these events including food, camping gear, camp booking fee and costs for the Youth Worker to and from interviews, job agencies, disability support, school, child safety, camp, events etc. The service is targeted towards a Logan suburb where young people stroll the street doing drugs, petty crime and causing community issues and the program attracts these cohorts into existing your programs to provide support, education and social goals, the program is assisting approximately 40 youth per week and aiming to extend this towards 80.
