Grant: $10,350 to Oz Harvest
OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, dedicated to stopping food waste, feeding people in need and protecting our planet. The Nutrition Education Skills Training (NEST) program addresses the crucial need for nutritional education in our community. Through workshops, NEST empowers 75 participants facing food insecurity with essential food literacy skills, aiming to reduce food insecurity by 10% and increase nutrition knowledge for 80% of participants.
The City of Logan Charitable Trust has allocated $10,350 towards three NEST programs, helping us drive change and nourish our community.
